**Grounds Maintenance Operative - Daventry**

West Northamptonshire Norse are the partnership between the Norse Group and Daventry District Council, providing expertise across a range of property and facilities management services. Daventry Norse partner with a number of local public and private sector clients to provide a range of services including Waste & Refuse collection, Street Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance.

We are currently looking to recruit a Grounds Operative into our Daventry based team.

You will be working in a service driven team and be responsible for maintaining and improving the standard of grassed areas, highway verges, municipal parks and open spaces across Daventry. You will also be responsible for:

- Using and maintaining hand tools and light plant
- Planting and maintaining trees, shrubs and hedges
- Cultivation of sites for planting and sowing
- Experience working in a ground maintenance or similar environment
- Full UK Driving Licence, as there will be a driving requirement to the role
- Good communication skills, comfortable dealing with members of the public
- Ability to work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo training and development with process and machinery
