Due to an increase in customer demand in our clients business, they are now recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team in the Bootle Area on a Double Days based position.

**Role Description**
- To ensure equipment availability is in line with departmental targets.
- To engage in Root cause analysis of repeat / major breakdowns and provide reports with internal RAMS and rectification timing plans.
- Maintaining Mechanical & Electrical production machinery
- To engineer out previous issues following a continuous improvement mind-set and methodologies.
- To facilitate the PM schedules and make recommendations for improvement.
- To support the internal customers with technical issues Inc. non-breakdown.
- To ensure Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are followed during maintenance activities.
- To maintain and improve the equipment to where feasible ensure quality is built in to confirm no faults forward.
- To align to departmental and company goals.
- To support management with ad-hoc projects as and when required.
- To support management with PFMEA/FMEA documentation for NPI.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- At least 5 years working in a manufacturing environment.
- Apprenticeship trained in Mechanical or electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Educated to HNC/HND in related discipline
- Experience with heavier engineering maintenance (chains, bearings, drawings)
- Experience with electrical panels, fault finding, motors etc.
- Minimum C & G craft qualification/NVQ level 3 qualification in related discipline.
- Experience working with automated robotics
- Experience working with PLC control systems
- Experience in fault finding from electrical schematics
- Experience in fault finding from hydraulic & pneumatic schematics
- Good Microsoft package (Word, Excel)
- 5S experience
- Experience within PM/TPM/CI
- Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
