**Housekeeping Porter**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Porter to join our Housekeeping Department. This role is based across our Main Hospital with a salary on offer of up to £19,413. We have circa 1200 employees, a total of 8 premises, and we are dedicated to providing the best, personalised healthcare with a breadth of surgical and medical expertise.

As Housekeeping Porter you will be responsible for cleaning and servicing hospital areas to ensure the safety, health and morale of patients’ recovery, by helping provide a clean, attractive, safe environment with mínimal interference to others.

**Job Type**: (Full Time, permanent position working 40 hours per week)

Shifts: Monday to Sunday between the hours of 7am to 10pm

Duties & Responsibilities
- To clean and tidy all waiting rooms, toilets, staff rooms, patient rooms, changing rooms and ancillary areas using he correct amounts and types of cleaning materials and equipment as specified on schedule.
- To carry out requests made by consultants, secretaries and staff such as replenishing of stock, supplying extra linen as required.
- To ensure store and housekeeping rooms are kept clean and tidy at all times.

- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- To be able to work in a team environment
- Previous experience in cleaning services
