The Thatch Inn requires a Housekeeping Supervisor.

The role is to lead from the front and ensure that we maintain our very high standards of housekeeping throughout. You will coach, develop and monitor a small team and take pride in the standards that you and your team consistently achieve. This is a hands on role and involves room cleaning, public area cleaning, laundry stock control and planned deep cleans. You will be responsible for training any new members of the housekeeping team and ensuring checks of serviced rooms.

Previous housekeeping experience within the hospitality sector is essential, and proven supervisory experience will be an advantage.

You must have been working in a role that was predominantly cleaning for at least two years of the last three years. Housekeeping is a challenging role, and involves lifting, bending and carrying. Stairs are present at the Inn and your role will involve using these too.

You must live within a 10 mile radius of Quedgeley, Gloucester and have the right to live and work in the UK. You must be able to attend work without the use of public transport, lifts or taxis.

You should be fluent in both written and spoken English and be able to attend interviews at the Thatch Inn.

You are required to bring proof of right to work in the UK with you to your interview, if you cannot produce this, your interview can not take place.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
