Pay rate: £10.50 per hour

Shift pattern: Nights on a four on four off shift pattern. The exact shift patterns will be discussed at interview

Essential for the role:

- SIA Licence
- Customer Service experience
- Relevant experience in a similar role

Desirable for the role:

- First Aid Certification
- Driving Licence and own vehicle

**Purpose of the role**: To provide an efficient and professional security service to Consortio Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of customer service.

**Duties**:
Duties include:
Supporting sheltered accommodation from a security aspect.

Monitoring CCTV, internal and external patrols.

Emergency response for Fire/Trespass/Anti-social behaviour/Initial resident Welfare.

This position requires patience, empathy, and a passion for ensuring the safety of others. We support our client out of hours to support the vulnerable residents within their various sites.

This includes but is not limited to, conducting welfare checks, calling relevant support services on behalf of a resident, deterring anti-social behaviour, monitoring access and egress, monitoring and controlling fire/site alarms, liaising with emergency services when needed, report writing and internal/external patrols.

**Essential Requirements**:

- A current SIA Licence - Carried on your person at all times whilst on duty
- Smart appearance, following the Consortio uniform requirements to the letter
- Good verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
- Shows excellent customer care skills
- Shows courtesy and respect for people at all times in all situations
- Possesses computer literacy of at least a basic level
- Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
- Demonstrates good observation skills and an attention to detail
- Remains calm and professional under pressure
- Always punctual and reliable
- Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns
- Must demonstrate understanding of Health & Safety requirements when handling and using machinery and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
- Supports the team, giving assistance where possible.
