Senior Claims Handler

Our major Client is looking to recruit more talented Claims professionals into their experienced Claims team dealing with a wide range and high value of Claims
You will manage and resolve claims for your customers focussing on excellent customer service and drive for improvement.
You will work closely together to bring claims to resolution taking ownership of the critical issues necessary to fully manage the claim.
This role is Ipswich based with hybrid working, enabling you to combine both home and office working.
**As Claims Handler your responsibilities will include**:
- Managing a portfolio of claims, proactively engaging with all stakeholders to resolve claims promptly and fairly.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships externally and internally.
- Providing guidance and direction to Third Party Administrators for claims that fall outside of the Delegated Authority arrangements.
- Attending audit performance discussions with the key partners.
- Attending meetings explaining portfolio management performance.
- Preparing and presenting large claim activity to the Management team.
- Managing your TPA relationships by ensuring they comply with all SLAs and claims handling guidelines.
**To be a successful Claims Handler you will demonstrate**:
- Strong Claims handling experience - in any class - as your ability to successfully manage and resolve claims issues is key
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to prioritize with excellent organisation
- Problem solver with analytical mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines
