**VACANCY**

We are looking for an outgoing, smartly presented and outgoing receptionist to join our experienced team at Piersland House in Troon

We are a busy 37-bedroom Country House Hotel, renowned for our customer service and Food and beverage.

**CONTRACT AND REWARD**

The role carries a permanent contract of 16 or 24 hours per week, working any 2 or 3 days from 7. Shift times vary between early and late, typically being 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm. (Weekday and weekend)

This is an hourly paid position, paid monthly, salary depending on experience

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

As the fist point of contact, Receptionists must have a genuine warmth and a passion for delivering authentic hospitality.

Job responsibilities include:

- To carry out Reception duties including welcoming guests to Piersland House, checking in guests, carrying out ad hoc requests, handle all incoming phone calls, making bedroom and table reservations, checking out guests, and handling guest billing.
- Provide a consistently high level of guest service in accordance to our service principles and values, ensuring that all guests receive special attention and recognition.
- To have a comprehensive knowledge of the Front Office computer systems., ideally OPERA
- Work closely alongside all other departments to ensure excellent communication and be proactive in assisting other departments as required.
- Offer additional services to make the guest experience more seamless i.e. making restaurant reservations, assisting in directions, delivering items to rooms.
