The Production Manager job itself which will suit someone ready to step up from a Production Supervisor or similar role. You will manage work schedules based on changing output, supply and customer demands.More specifically:

- Manage the introduction of Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing methods / reduction of waste.
- Plan and organise production schedules, managing non-conforming components to include working with Quality on route cause analysis and countermeasure.
- Investigate and re-invent suitable testing procedures and equipment.
- Manage machine maintenance and identify new machinery requirements for improvements of quality or quantity.
- Manage team members, encouraging and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Review current and new processes for improvements.
- Support the introduction of a new company ERP.
- Work with Purchasing on parts availability.

**You will have

To be successful as Production Manager, you’ll have experience of working in a manufacturing or production environment and be detail orientated with experience of being able to change and direct work schedules based on current output, supply and customerdemands.

We’d really like to speak to you if you have experience of working within production and working at as supervisory level and are happy working hands on as part of a team.
