Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Fostering Panel Member to join our team. As a Fostering Panel Member, you will play a crucial role in the decision-making process for approving foster carers and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in need. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the fostering process and make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in panel discussions and provide input on suitability of applicants
- Review and evaluate assessment reports, references, and other relevant documents
- Contribute to the decision-making process by considering all available information
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of panel meetings and decisions

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children in a professional capacity
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of fostering regulations and best practices (desirable)

We offer competitive compensation for this position. This is not an internship position.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Expected hours: 7 per week
