**Sports Teaching Assistant**
For this Sports Teaching Assistant assist role you will be required to work alongside the PE teacher to help deliver sporting sessions and assist the students where needed. In each lesson there will be 6-8 students, all of these students will have Social, Emotionaland Mental Health Needs. There may be times when you are asked to work with certain students on a 1:1 basis or 2:1 basis. Due to the students needs there will be times when they won't want to take part and their behaviour will become quite challenging andyou will be required to keep this to a minimum. Therefore, the ideal Sports Teaching Assistant will need to have had previous experience coaching small groups and not be phased by challenging situations.
**SEMH School**
This SEMH School is located in the London brough of Bromley and caters for students aged between 11-18 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. They currently have 170 students who attend and in their last Ofsted, they were reviewed as 'Good' inall areas.
