Here at Bruce’s we are looking for a Full Time Team Leader at our Wellington Country Park Centre.

About us:
Founded in 2008, we have become the UK’s recognised leader in Doggy Day Care and are fluent in dog.
Our founder, Bruce Casalis, sits on the board of directors for the Pet Industry Federation and has acted as an advisor for the likes of DEFRA, Dogs Trust and RSPCA.

What You’ll be Doing:
Bruce’s supports its managers to lead with autonomy, the overall mission is to ensure our colleagues are enriching the lives of the dogs in our care and that our colleagues are engaged, motivated, and a happy team.

As a Team leader at Bruce's you will be the extra layer of support between our in field staff and our Centre Manager. You will lead and empower our dedicated and enthusiastic teams of dog loving professionals, ensuring an exceptional experience for both dogs and their human pawrents.

As the Team leader you will oversee the seamless day to day running of the centre by supporting the Centre Manager with onsite operations as well as:

- Bringing your curiosity and creativity to life by leading our colleagues to deliver our weekly enrichment routines in line with our enrichment calendar.
- Caring for the equipment, fields and site and keeping them maintained, safe and clean (this also includes helping with maintenance and cleaning up after the dogs).
- Identify challenges that affect dog welfare, including but not limited to, dogs that seem quiet and less engaged, as well as those misbehaving.
- Ensuring our Carers are doing their roles effectively and empowering them to their full potential
- Continually improve dog engagement and support carers where needed.
- Assist with new customer meetings where required, this includes supporting the office with existing customer bookings and phone calls.
- Managing our colleagues and providing a positive environment which leads to happy dogs and creates an atmosphere where we can unleash happiness.
- Supporting the Centre Manager with Career development and the logistics of onboarding and training for new Carers and Drivers.

About you:
It goes without saying you will be someone who is flexible with great communication skills
You will be a reliable and trustworthy individual with a passion for all that is dogs.
Someone who embraces a challenge and works under time pressure with a can-do mindset and enthusiasm.
You are a multitasker as well as being a creative problem solver and confident decision maker.
Giving 100 pawcent in everything you do all while radiating positivity, you are someone who is happy to work outdoors in all weathers ( this is a must
- come rain, shine, snow and all)
