**About the role**:

- As the Stakeholder Executive, you will be supporting Northern’s reputation with stakeholders by helping our teams to maintain and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Reporting in to the Corporate Stakeholder Manager, you will be helping to create high quality stakeholder communications and briefing materials including online, print and events. You’ll also help to gather and share stakeholder insight to help with our understanding of stakeholder sentiment and priorities.
- There will be an opportunity to work from home but you will also be travelling across the Network to support our teams in local projects and to help them build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities**:

- As the Stakeholder Executive, you can expect a role which is varied and challenging. Here is a taste of what your day-to-day activities could include:

- Writing newsletters and stakeholder bulletins or content for our website aimed at keeping stakeholders up-to-date with our work and key issues
- Analysing stakeholder and parliamentary commentary and providing briefings to our internal teams on key issues and topics to help with key messages and stakeholder plans
- Working with our Communications Team and other areas of the business to ensure that stakeholder communications are delivered as part of an integrated communications and engagement approach
- Planning and delivering stakeholder engagement events such as conferences and online briefing sessions

- We’re also looking for the following:

- Knowledge of national and local government structures and wider political awareness
- Self-starter with ability to work on own or as part of team
- The ability to manage multiple projects at once and bring others together to work towards a a common goal
- Strong interpersonal skills applied to managing a range of different stakeholders
