Cad Operator

**CAD Operator / Trainee Design Engineer (Full Time)**:
**Due to recent business expansion DMI currently have a vacancy for a “CAD Operator / Trainee Designer Engineer” role.**
- Based in hour head office at Century House, Chapelhall Industrial Estate, Airdrie, Scotland, ML6 8QH

**Role Overview**:

- Working within our design department and reporting to the design manager, the role will primarily involve the production of Autocad drawings for various purposes and projects. The role requires a good eye for detail, time management, the ability to work independently and professional working knowledge of Autocad software. Fire and security industry experience advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Production of Autocad drawings (primarily 2D/LT)
- Production of supporting drawing documentation
- _Drawing Registers_
- _Operating and Maintenance Manuals_
- Potential Progression into design and estimating

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Autocad Accreditation
- Similar drawing production background

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Airdrie, ML6 8QH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
