Renowned for connecting high-calibre construction professionals with leading firms across the UK, they pride themselves on industry expertise, integrity, and excellent client service. They are seeking a proactive Senior Recruitment Consultant to drive their growth and expand their client portfolio.

Founded during the pandemic, the company is going from strength to strength, opening a second office in that time, and looking to expand nationwide over the next few years. They've even won several industry awards for top-tier service, and the existing team's knowledge will give any new staff member the leg up they need.

As a Business Development Manager in a construction recruitment agency, your primary focus will be on generating new business and nurturing existing client relationships. You will understand clients’ hiring needs, promote the agency’s services, and tailor solutions to attract top construction talent. You will work closely with recruitment consultants and senior management to meet growth targets and strengthen the agency’s reputation in the industry.

You will also be in constant contact with the Consultants to make sure they know the clients' precise needs at all time. There will be a fair bit of driving to client sites on a daily basis, so you must be able to drive as a minimum.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with construction companies and contractors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
- Present recruitment solutions and value propositions to prospective clients.
- Understand client staffing requirements and advise on market trends and talent availability.
- Collaborate with other consultants to ensure client needs are met effectively.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance visibility and relationships.
- Contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives to position the agency as a leading recruitment partner within construction.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally in the construction or industrial sectors.
- A full UK driver's license.
- Knowledge of the construction industry clients, roles, and talent market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with a strategic and entrepreneurial approach.
- A strong network within the construction industry is desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and targets simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
