We are looking for a full-time Production Assistant, Labelling, to join our small and friendly team.

We are a growing company in a very secure industry and are BRCGS AA accredited.

The hours are 37.5 hours per week, 06:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. There are two 15 minute tea breaks and a 30 minute lunch break which are unpaid.

The salary is £12.21 per hour (we pay monthly). Overtime is often available.

**This role involves**:
Helping on our food labelling and packing lines which includes:

- Setting-up labelling lines and date coders
- Running labelling lines and changing label reels
- Putting on neck seals
- Making trays
- Stacking finished cases on pallets
- Putting product into trays, boxes, and shrink wrap
- Keeping your area clean, practising clean as you go, and keeping machine/work areas clean and tidy
- Completing paperwork and quality checks on labelling and packing lines

Helping to ensure that the packaging of products meets the required standard:

- Sealed correctly
- Dated Correctly
- Pallet Stacked or Box packed correctly
- Deadlines are met

Helping move and wrap stock and packaging to ensure the continual operation of lines.

Assisting with warehouse area daily and weekly clean down to specific standards.

Assisting with stock takes.

Assisting other production teams to the trained ability level.

An ability to work at speed is important as there are daily processing targets to achieve. Teamwork and adaptability are essential as the needs of the department and business vary based on customer requirements. Tidiness is important as we need to ensure that all work stations and floors are cleaned, bins emptied and work areas are cleaned down at the end of every working day regardless of the main area worked in each day.

Directly relevant experience is preferred, but certainly not essential and we provide full training.
