We’re searching for a Head of Property Finance in either London or Bristol to join our team of free thinkers and collaborators.

The Head of Property Finance role is in a unique position to define and shape the approach we take to on-property performance and ways of working, working alongside the property operational leadership team, across the UK and European operations. You will be singularly responsible for business partnering on property, overseeing and executing property delivery to plan and benchmark and managing complexity around decision making and prioritisation alongside the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and their management team across the UK and Europe.

**A role less ordinary.**
- Liaison with business teams to ensure that property variances are understood and appropriate counter measures put in place to deliver value.
- The Head of Property Finance will create a governance and ways of working that delivers a sustainable cadence and rhythm to performance monitoring and improvement
- Using data first insight to challenge business norms and ways of working, leveraging cross functional knowledge to innovate and challenge the delivery of services and support.
- Monthly and quarterly reporting oversight, aligning to business performance and trading review cycles, ensuring that property operations meet their commitments and targets.
- New market/territory entry assessment and readiness, working closely with in-country responsible accountants and business partner leads (which report to the job holder) to ensure that properties open to plan and balance cost and risk, hitting best in class KPIs and securing long term performance delivery.

**Who you are.**
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Chartered Management Accountant. Post qualified experience of 5 years+, experience of hospitality (preferred). You will also hold a II:I qualification (or better) from a reputable university.
- Industry experience as a Head of Finance level, preferably with overseas businesses also, managing teams of chartered accountants.
- Experience of managing external providers and budgets to tight delivery and a high benchmark, as well as experience of influencing non-technical leaders and holding their performance to account.
- A proven track record of delivering and implementing step change / transformation through identification of opportunity and subsequent follow up, including organisational re-design.
- Experience of working in a cross functional and functional management team. You will be a strong relationship builder, with the ability of utilising hospitality/operational understanding to gain buy-in from key stakeholders
- Direct and indirect awareness of key European markets and hospitality drivers and levers (and how aparthotel differs) and what good, better and best looks like in the industry.
