Cafe Assistant/barista

Wild Thyme Cafe is a small business in Braunton. We are professional, fun, customer-centric, and our goal is to provide satisfying home cooked food, freshly made juices and smoothie bowls, and superb coffee. We are a lively cafe, part of the community as well as a destination for visitors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Have a knowledge of cafe operations, including food preparation and beverage service.
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with accurate information about the establishment.
- Answer customers' questions; assist them as needed.
- Follow the rules and guidelines of the establishment, including food preparation and service times.
- Greet customers when they enter the establishment or as they approach the counter.
- Follow ethical business practices.
- Ensure that food is safe to eat; clean and sanitary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3-12 months
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: £7.38-£11.32 per hour

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
