Assured Cleaning Services are looking for a new Area Supervisor to join the ever expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of staff in an exciting and rapidly growing organisation providing services to many large blue chip companies.

Days of work are Monday to Friday but please note that you must be flexible in your approach to work as this position may involve occasional weekend work and the requirement to work additional hours when needed.

A Competitive salary and Company car are included, Essential to the role is a Full Driving licence and experience in customer service, not necessarily cleaning and facilities related but this is of benefit to the role. Reporting to the Senior Contracts manager. Must live in Lancashire or surrounding areas.

**General Nature and Description of Area Supervisor Role**
- To support the smooth running of cleaning contracts across the Company.
- To liaise with Area Managers and staff to provide high quality service to clients.
- In order to complete the above, an Area Supervisor must hold a full UK driving license

**Main Duties and Tasks for Area Supervisor**
- To work in conjunction with an Area Manager to ensure that our operations on client sites are running efficiently, particularly in respect of training employees and health and safety.
- Providing training to cleaning operatives on to client sites, particularly during induction, to ensure that this is a positive experience for both client and employee.
- Supporting good health and safety on site, ensuring that clients and employees are aware of its importance, trained and working safely.
- Ensuring sites and employees have the correct cleaning chemicals, equipment, and materials, and that these are PAT tested & recorded at Head Office.
- Stock taking and redistribution of stock between sites/ Head Office when and where required.
- To carry out cover cleaning for sites. We would anticipate this to be approx. 30% of the Area Supervisor’s time.
- To set a positive example to all employees under their supervision.
- To ensure all paperwork is accurate and completed by the relevant deadlines.
- To maintain company vehicles in a satisfactory manner according to the Company Handbook.
- To maintain accurate mileage records.
- Any other ad hoc duties as occur from time to time.
- To comply with the Company Handbook and the Company Policies contained therein.

**What Assured Cleaning will do**

- Provide adequate resources to enable the Area Supervisor to fulfill their Job Description to a high standard
- Provide safe equipment, plant and vehicles
- Be transparent in the manner in which we deal with our staff and customers.
