**About The Role**
Are you a GP looking for a different way of working? Do you enjoy working in a fast paced environment? If so, you may well be interested in a role without fixed appointment times at our Urgent Treatment Centre in Portsmouth.
As a Practice Plus Group GP you will have access to fantastic facilities which enable you to assess your patients with acute illnesses in great detail without the time constraints of a large appointment list.
The Practice Plus Group Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) is currently open from 8am to 8 pm, Monday to Sunday, offering clinical consultations to the patients who attend when GP intervention is required to manage the patients’ medical condition in the short /immediate term until the patient is able to obtain an appointment with their own GP.
You will be joining a team committed to delivering the highest standards in patient care in a fast paced and challenging Urgent Care environment.
There are no timed appointments at the UTC which means that you have no issues with running late or clashes. Little paperwork and no QOF means that you can go home at the end of your shift safe in the knowledge that your workload is complete and tomorrow isa fresh start.
As a GP in our Portsmouth UTC you will work within a wider clinical team of experienced Nurse and Paramedic Practitioners assisted by Assistant Practitioners and Health Care Assistants where collaborative team working is actively encouraged.
As a UK registered medical professional, with a listing on the GMC register and GP Performers List, we will support you with your ongoing CPD and career development.
