**SALARY: £12.52 - £13.52 per hour**

**About the role**:
Your main responsibility will be to ensure all kitchen cleanliness and assist with general food preparation, therefore, we need someone with an excellent, hard-working attitude. Galgorm Collection always offers internal opportunities for our employees so our kitchen porters often progress onto kitchen assistants. **The main duties of this role include but are not limited to**:

- Washing dishes, pots, and the provisions of the required equipment in the kitchen.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, floors, racks, and anything else required by the chefs.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
- Following all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
- Responsibility for the security and safe handling of all equipment used.
- Carrying out any other duties set by Senior Chefs in the kitchen.

**Applicants Criteria**:

- Must be able to use their own initiative and be able to work well under pressure.
- Be an excellent team player.
- Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- Have the ability to communicate well with other team members.

**Desirable**:

- Have previous experience working in a kitchen.
