**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**

To support, monitor and measure the Quality activities at each site/department and ensure they are being carried out to the required level. To ensure process and product conformance are met: prevent and reduce internal/external failures.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Maintain customer communications and resolution of any quality issues raised. Visit customers and suppliers as needed to resolve quality issues; identify and verify standards with the customer and suppliers.
- Ensure the site supervision and operators are working to documented product and process standards. Ensure that management systems are adhered to through auditing.
- Develop and document best practice product and process standards, and training methods across all sites.
- Monitor, analyse and report on the product and process performance for all sites. Lead problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Step in to cover sites as needed when site supervision is not available or additional support is required.
- Any other duties as considered appropriate to this position.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Educated to GCSE level minimum.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience at a Senior Inspector level within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Quality practices/procedures, inspection, testing and documentation.
- Preferred background in plastic components but all fabrication/assembly industries considered.
- Mathematically proficient and Knowledge of basic statistics is a benefit.
- Internal Audit experience/qualification advantageous.

**SKILLS & QUALITIES**
- Reading technical, basic writing and conversional speaking skills.
- Computer literate - Syspro, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Good Product knowledge.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
