Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support two young children who have complex care needs.

We are seeking dedicated and committed individuals who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service users are two siblings who live with their parents in Luton.

They require full time care on a 2:1 basis throughout the night.

Both girls are immobile, unable to communicate verbally and are totally dependent on their family and care team to meet all their social, personal care, medication and moving and handling requirements.

They have frequent seizures and experience involuntary movements which can require rescue medications to be administered. You will also support them with respiratory care and enteral feeding.

It is important that they are monitored regularly and observed closely to always ensure their safety.

It can be difficult to interpret their wants and needs and this requires a calm, understanding and patient individual who can allow both girls the time they need to communicate, to avoid them becoming distressed or frustrated.

Our ideal applicant will have proven experience delivering complex care and it would be advantageous if this were specifically with children.

**Essential Experience Required**

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Nights
- 9pm - 6am
