The Lodge offers temporary respite and longer-term rentals for older persons that have access to the on site shop, restaurant and other facilities - along with a nurse-led wellness suite.

- **Pay & Hours**:_
- Rate of Pay - £12.22 per hour
- Hours of Work - 30 hours per week
- Shift Pattern - Working on a rota covering 7 days per week
- Fixed Term Contract - This is a fixed term contract for 12 months
- **The Role**:_

As a Housekeeper, you will ensure the cleanliness of the home is to the highest standard, the ordering and storing of cleaning products and taking responsibility to minimise the risk of infection within the home. You will promote and encourage service user’s privacy and personal space and keep records up to date and factual.
- Working towards or holds a relevant NVQ in Basic Food Hygiene and an NVQ or relevant in cleaning
- Previous experience of working in a Kitchen environment
- Previous experience of Domestic work
- Able to organise and manage workload and prioritise duties

The Lodge is a specialist Nursing with Care home designed to support people living with a dementia and the challenges they face. It is located within Buckshaw Retirement Village which is near Chorley.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.22 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chorley PR7 7EJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
