This physically demanding and varied role will involve you working for the Repairs team. Your duties will include fencing, laying paving slabs, brickwork repairs (pointing), concreting and aco drainage. PPE, hand and power tools will be provided. Training will be provided on using systems.

You will have the use of a van and fuel card; therefore, a clean driving licence is essential.

You must be comfortable working with the public and be willing to provide excellent levels of service.

We expect you to attend and complete all mandatory training, complete all appropriate records and documentation, and adhere to all safety and security regulations. You’ll work with colleagues and leaders across the organisation to ensure we are fair, respectful, open and honest, and an organisation which values its employees and customers.

**As a ground worker with us, we want you to have**:

- Experience of working in a similar role (essential)
- Good knowledge of health and safety, COSHH and asbestos
- Completed training in working safely and manual handling
- Proficient IT knowledge and comfortable using mobile devices
- The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Full, clean driving licence
- Commitment to our DNA and be a great ambassador for Bromford.

This role is based from the Gloucestershire area (GL20) and will involve some travel to and from the surrounding areas. Due to the nature of the role, Bromford will complete a basic DBS check for the successful applicant.

Your previous experience may be in roles as a ground worker, waste cleaning operative, ground maintenance operative, grounds maintenance engineer, amongst others.
