This is an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our Property Services team. You will ensure that the business has appropriate policy, procedures and developed management practices in place to effectively manage Health,Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance across our business and comply fully with all appropriate legislation.
You should have a passion for HSE, be a great influencer able to lead the HSE agenda, working closely with the ESG Manager to demonstrate Environmental compliance, and will actively engage with colleagues at all levels to get things done, change perceptions,affect continuous improvement and build awareness to risk.
**The role**
- Develop, implement and manage effective H&S and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring auditable legislative compliance and proactive risk management.
- Develop and lead in-house training with Leaders and colleagues at all levels, building awareness around health, safety and environment issues and effective risk management.
- Produce concise reports that summarise concerns, recommend improvements and track activity to ensure continuous improvement and active risk mitigation.

- Prepare health and safety strategies that reflect the needs of a growing and evolving business.

**About you**
- Experience of working as part of a team in an in-house corporate role in a similar industry
- Pragmatic and creative with a 'can do' approach to delivery of safe methods of working
- Demonstrable ability to actively engage with stakeholders across the business to influence and develop proactive health and safety culture. - Essential
- Ability to demonstrate a track record of drafting and implementing Health & Safety strategy, policy and procedures
- Working knowledge of Environmental Management requirements
- Specific knowledge of Fire Safety and related Building/Workplace Regulations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus.
- Collaborative working style and the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships
