You will provide support and guidance to Pathfields Lodge’s team in relation to meeting clinical audit and governance requirements and any associated reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

**What you will be doing**
As a Quality Improvement & Training Lead you will ensure people with physical disability, brain injury, neurological condition or learning disability conditions receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promote good teamwork.
No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.

**Things that you will have**:
- Evidence of a minimum of 2 years clinical experience working in a neurological setting
- A nationally recognised level 3 further education and teaching/training certificate/award (Level 3 teaching qualification-EAT)
- Strong team-working skills
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- A good understanding of audit standards and clinical governance
- Experience in undertaking clinical audit activities
- Have the ability and willingness to use a variety of IT systems
- Ability to disseminate clinical audit outcomes that generate changes to clinical practice with both individuals and clinical teams respectively
- Ability to lead Continuous Improvement processes in a Health Care facility
- Sound knowledge of the relevant legislative and regulatory body requirements (Care Quality Commission - CQC)
- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary clinical risk management strategies that are effective in promoting and ensuring high quality patient care
- Experience in analysing clinical information and creating reports for internal/external stakeholders
- Proven ability to successfully motivate a clinical services team providing positive leadership and clinical networking opportunities
- Demonstrate communication skills of a high level including written and verbal communication, ability to listen and summarise and presentation skills
- Able to deliver education and training associated with clinical audits

Join the team at Pathfields Lodge in providing supportive and therapeutic care for adults with a physical disability, brain injury, neurological condition or learning disability. Within this specialist care home, the 24-hour on-site nursing team also supports individuals with additional physical health conditions.
Pathfields is a homely and welcoming environment with several communal areas for socialising as well as a large garden. Service users are actively encouraged to take part in a variety of activity programmes, which are aimed to increase independence in undertaking everyday tasks such as shopping, gardening, and budgeting.
**What you will get**
- Annual salary of £28,000 to £33,000 (37.5 Hours a week) DOE
