**Job overview**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Clinical Practice educator to join the division of Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences.
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual who will successfully support service improvements and education in clinical practice across MCCN and provide evidence of CPD and involvement in teaching.
The post holder will hold excellent communication skills and have a specialist interest in Neurosciences.
You will have the ability to maintain good working relationships with all members of the MDT and will support Ward Managers to maintain compliance in line with trust expectation.
**Main duties of the job**:
The post holder will provide education and training to learners within the division of Neurosciences.
This will include the delivery of education and training programmes which incorporate mandatory training, clinical skills and enhanced skills.
They will support and work alongside practice based educators, matrons, ward/unit managers and clinical teams in the development and delivery of high standards of patient focused, evidence-based care in the Trust.

- Evidence of involvement and leadership in teaching and mentoring learners
- Evidence of involvement in the development of protocols and clinical audit
- Evidence of ability to take charge in the absence of their direct line manager
