The role
Fugro is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant/Coordinator to join our small friendly Facilities team. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating facility-related tasks and activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements and Health and Safety standards. Your duties will include obtaining quotes, raising purchase orders, scheduling and overseeing maintenance work, liaising with external contractors, notifying internal stakeholders of planned works, maintaining accurate records and managing the facilities helpdesk. Additionally, you will handle stock orders. This role will suit someone with strong organisational and communication skills.

Essential
- An Administration/Operations/Coordinator background
- Willing to undertake physical tasks
- A proactive approach
- Good IT skills in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Has the aptitude to change as the role develops
- Attention to detail
- An understanding of Health and Safety procedures
Desirable
- Facility management knowledge
