We are currently working with a fantastic authority that is looking for an Interim Public Health Strategist - Substance Misuse
Interim Public Health Strategist - Substance Misuse - Needs Assessment Objectives Describe nature and levels of drug and alcohol use within Hillingdon as compared with regional, national, and statistical comparators. Health, social, crime and economic impactsand outcomes of substance use. Outline the causes and risk factors which influence substance use and misuse across small areas within Hillingdon, distribution of risk factors across genders, socioeconomic, ethnic and age groups. Review of the current serviceprovision, utilisation across prevention, targeted interventions, and specialist treatment (T2,3&4) with specific focus on CJS, YOS, rough sleepers as under the Harm to Hope strategy. Present insight and evidence for the future design of services for Hillingdon.
The post holder will be a self-motivated and organised individual who can help the Public Health Team to develop the insights and evidence based on an assessment of need for the future design of services.
