Situated in the heart of the Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent, Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd is a privately owned, family run engineering firm looking for a new member to join the team as a Delivery Driver.

Founded in 1995, the company occupies 20,000 sq ft, specialising in one-off bespoke projects, prototyping, architectural metalwork and batch manufacturing.

Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd, work with Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Steel, Plastics and Non-ferrous metals and are very proud to be certified in respect to EN-1090 for the execution of both Steel & Aluminium structures.

We are a small firm, employing 35 staff members and now looking to take the next step by increasing our workforce.

**MAIN DUTIES**
- Driving the company Transit Van
- Driving the company flat bed truck
- Making collections and deliveries across the UK (Mainly London & across the South East)
- Loading and Unloading of goods,
- Attending sites and assisting with the unloading and loading of goods.
- Working in the yard and workshop, use of general workshop machinery

**JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS**
- A full clean UK driving license
- Forklift License (not essential)
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- **Excellent ability to communicate at all levels.**:

- Accurate with good attention to detail.
- Ability to forward think and plan ahead

**JOB TYPE**

Permanent, Full time

Monday to Friday, 7am until 3:30pm (40hr week, unpaid half hour lunch break and paid break)

**SALARY**

£11.50 per hour

Overtime available during weekdays at time + quarter and weekends time + half

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Commercial driving: 2 years (required)
- Van driver: 2 years (required)
- Flatbed Driving: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
