An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join an already very successful team as Semi-skilled Mechanic.

Full time - 6:30am - 4.30pm from Mon to Fri. Overtime may be available during the week and on Saturday, so flexibility is desirable.

Some experience with plant machinery and HGV is desirable.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Liaising and reporting to workshop manager and, or site manager.
- General maintenance across the site.
- Complete daily job sheet.
- Carrying out regular servicing of on-site machinery.
- Changing bearings, motors, gearboxes on the plant.
- Carrying out repairs and other maintenance on vehicles, machines and affected components.
- Using variety of specialist equipment and tools.
- Liaising with site management with regards to required repairs and part ordering.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in working within this sector is desirable
- Willingness to learn and progress in their job
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Punctual
- Reliable
- Flexible
- Have full UK Driving Licence
- Good level of English
- Attention to detail

**Essential**:

- Keen to learn new skills and willing to attend training.
- Proven mechanical experience.
- High awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental.

Salary negotiable, depending on experience.
