We have the following exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Person to join our successful organisation within our Dumfries Profit Centre. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team.

The main duties include:

- _Dealing with customer orders by inputting them on the computer system, along with any customer queries._
- _Building relationships with customers_
- _Calling customers to develop new business and promote offers_
- _Support Profit Centre with any current projects including stock checks_
- _Creating customer quotes from customers enquires_
- _Support our trade counter during busy times of the day_
- _Develop sales within our bathroom showroom_
- _Achieving monthly targets_
- _Raising orders with manufactures_
- _Taking part in manufactures training and meetings_
- _Provide an efficient and professional service for customers_
- Ideally have previous sales experience, preferably from the merchant sector
- Experience of the plumbing industry is essential (bathrooms, heating and pipeline)
- _Be well organised, confident and outgoing_
- _Have an excellent telephone manner_
- _Have a good standard of written English and strong verbal communication skills_
- _Have the ability to work confidently using your own initiative and be able _to prioritise and organise workloads with support and instruction
- _Have a smart, and professional appearance_
- _Be able to work well alone or as part of a team and get along with colleagues_
- _Have a minimum of 3 x GCSE including grades A*-C in Maths and English_

**Management and Supervision**
You will report to the Profit Center Manager who will provide an effective training package in the duties required.

**Working Week**
Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pm with one hour lunch break. We work a Saturday Rota, 8am to 12pm paid overtime when required.
