As a Senior Care Assistant you will be an integral member of the Management Team at Visiting Angels. You will support our clients to live independently in their own homes by supporting them with food and nutrition, personal care, medication, and very importantly genuine companionship. Our minimum visit time is one hour, in line with CQC best practice, to allow you to deliver a premium standard of unrushed, dignified person-centred care. You will support the caregiver team and Registered Manager by providing training, ensuring safe delivery of care and on call assistance.

You will receive full paid face to face training and work alongside a diverse and friendly team, including several retired nurses. You will also support the Registered Manager to ensure that the care packages are consistently delievered at a platinum standard, and take part in routine client reviews to ensure that the person-centred care is continuously evolving, and caregivers are matched well to clients' needs.

**Experience**:

- providing care: 1 year (required)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
