HFD Group have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our established and growing Security team.

Your role would be to provide proactive security, maintaining high level performance, appearance, and discipline. You will provide cover at Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill and Hamilton International Technology Park, Blantyre.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Protection of property
- Prevention of loss, waste, and damage
- Monitoring and responding to safety risks.
- Prevention and detection of crime
- Responding to alarm activations and conducting mobile security patrols on foot
- Patrolling company and client premises with use of company vehicle and by foot patrols.
- Being responsible for the safety and security of customers, clients, and staff
- Incident report writing
- Maintaining outstanding customer service levels
- CCTV Monitoring

**Minimum skills required include**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy
- A reasonable level of physical fitness
- A confident manner and the ability to handle confrontation when necessary.
- Flexible, willing to adapt to new tasks and duties with a positive attitude.
- Valid SIA Manned Guarding Licence
- A valid CCTV SIA Licence is an advantage.
- A Valid Driving Licence and own transport to sites

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
