We are currently recruiting for an early years practitioner with a full and relevant childcare qualification to join our Higher Walton Nursery. The role is full time Monday to Friday and part time/job share. As a practitioner, you can expect excellent training and development opportunities as well as a caring and passionate place to work. We require dedicated, hardworking and passionate individuals who are looking for a new challenge and to join our established quality Playdor Family. **Your role will include;** - Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS. - Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues. - Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times. - Looking after the health and wellbeing of the child, such as feeding babies and changing their nappies. - Observing children's progress and development, and keeping record of this to collaborate and communicate with parents. - Helping children to develop core skills. - Providing a safe and enabling environment for children to work in. - Teaching to the curricular requirements of the EYFS. - Encouraging physical activities to keep children active. - Supporting children's mental health, fostering an environment where children find help if they need it. - Supporting communication and social skills to help children interact with those around them. - Helping children with educational disabilities or needs with their studies. - Follow Playdor’s policies and procedures. **Why choose a career at Playdor?** - Encouraged to train for further childcare qualifications - Career progression for ambitious team members - Supportive staff team and management - Car parking for staff - Training costs covered by Playdor - Increases in pay when you achieve certain childcare qualifications - First day induction for all new team - Room based teams, so all children have consistency **What our parents say at Playdor** “Lovely nursery who put the child’s needs first.
