We have an opportunity for a forward-thinking Chartered Management Accountant to lead our capable team of bookkeepers in Clapham, Central London.
The role is office-based in Clapham.
Our offices are located between Stockwell and Clapham North Underground Stations on the Victoria and Northern Lines. We are an 8 minutes’ walk from both stations. It’s a great location for public transport and a fast commute.

**About Us**
We are a successful e-commerce company with over 20 websites across a number of industries, including healthcare, personal protective equipment, medical, sports, and fitness products. We are constantly launching websites and moving into new sectors.
The business has passed the threshold for audited accounts and has completed and filed its first audited company accounts. We now require an in-house chartered management accountant to lead our finance team and maintain this high standard of accounting forfuture audits.
**What Will The Role Include?**:

- Overseeing invoice entry processes
- Overseeing invoice and statement discrepancy/query resolution
- Overseeing the timely payment of suppliers ensuring good supplier relations are maintained
- Overseeing reconciliation of bank accounts
- Preparing, completing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing final accounts for year end and audit
- Preparing monthly payroll
- Preparing regular financial reports including financial analysis of cash flows, budgets, profit-and-loss accounts and financial statements
- Working closely with and liaising with other function managers within the company to place financial findings and data into the relevant context
- Setting agreed budgets with senior management and ensuring that the organisation is working within its outlined budget at all times
- Formulating valuable business strategies and using financial information and evidence to inform key decisions
- Monitoring financial information systems to evaluate their success at achieving their aims and preparing suggestions for improvement where relevant
- Contributing to both medium-term and long-term business planning and organisational forecasting through analysis of the organisation's financial performance
- Implementing and carrying out a range of risk management controls and procedures set by corporate governance
- Supporting management and surrounding departments within the organisation when making important financial decisions
- Implementing a CPD program within the accounts department
- Developing new and existing accounts team members’ skills to maintain an auditable standard of company accounts
- Identifying relevant grants, projects and loans that might benefit the organisation
- Other ad hoc accounts responsibilities that ensure the financial and accounting processes in the business run smoothly and in line with company expectations

**What Are We Looking For?**
To be a successful Chartered Management Accountant you will have the following skills and experience:

- CIMA qualified ideally to CGMA designation
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work logically and methodically under pressure
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and an exceptional eye for detail
- Strong problem-solving skills - we require someone who relishes the challenge of making the figures balance, as well as being able implement process improvements

The working hours of this Chartered Management Accountant role are 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 paid working hours per week). In return you will receive a salary of between £40,014 and £50,017.50 per annum (£20.52 - £25.65 per hour) depending uponyour ability, qualifications and previous relevant experience.
