**SENIOR CABLE TECHNICIAN** Working in the live events industry, you will be part of a professional operational team, that consistently ensures equipment is prepared to the highest standard, within required timescales and to client’s requirements. You will be working alongside otherskilled technicians with some of the industry’s leading technology and brands. Working safely within a warehouse environment is a key feature of this role. You’ll play an essential part in the company by efficiently and effectively carrying out duties including: - Plan the execution of all work activities for the Cable Department, including prioritising the department’s tasks and delegating work activities to team members as well as warehouse casuals, local crew - Picking, testing, checking in, and looming/de-looming power and data cable. - Ensure stock levels are accurately reflected in the stock management system for all equipment covered by the cable department. - Working with the technical department, manage fault finding, repair, and service of power and data cable. - Continuous liaison with all warehouse and office-based departments, as well as freelancers, to ensure operational information is relayed in a timely manner in relation to the cable department. - Assist in ensuring COSHH, PPE and Health and Safety requirements are observed within the warehouse. - Construct departmental processes reports. - Plan and utilise warehouse space to provide efficient ways of working **Skills, Qualifications and Experience** **Essential Skills** - High level of both written and verbal communication in English. - Ability to take ownership for timely delivery. - Strong delegation and leadership skills - Be solutions focused, pragmatic and have a positive approach towards teamwork. - Ability to work on your own or as part of a team. - Always represent and encompass company values (collaboration, teamwork, self-development, community and diversity, standards of excellence, trailblazing/ "can-do" attitude) - High level of attention to detail. - Good level of IT skills. - Flexibility and focus on high-level delivery: - Knowledge of equipment used within the entertainment business. - Electrical safety knowledge and appreciation. **Desirable Skills** - Electric stacker or counterbalance fork truck license. The ability to occasionally be flexible with working hours and patterns is essential. This will encompass additional hours or weekend work, paid as overtime or time in lieu. Hours: 9.30am - 6.30pm
