**Head Coach Vacancy**

Little Stars Coaching Ltd & North London Stars (NLS) is a grassroots football club based in Highgate, North London. We are currently seeking a Head Coach for Little Stars ages 3-7 years old. We are also looking for new lead coaches with a view to have them taking teams for the spring term and the 2025/26 season.

**Role Overview**:
**Training and Match Schedule**:
**-Training Sessions**:

- **Saturdays**: 9am to 1pm in Highgate (N10 3JN)
- Potential midweek - 6-7pm

**Compensation**:
We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from £17.5 to £35, determined on a case-by-case basis based on the value the individual brings to the team rather than just qualifications. Additionally, we provide a bonus scheme to reward coaches for their commitment and performance, distributed at the end of each season.

**Expectations**:
We expect our Head Coaches to be professional, attentive, and excellent communicators, ensuring all players develop and perform to their best abilities.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Required:_
- FA Level 2/UEFA C certification
- First Aid and Child Safety certification completed within the last 3 years
- Proven experience as a lead coach or manager at grassroots level or higher, with at least one reference
- Desirable:_
- UEFA B certification
- Experience working with various age groups grassroots level or higher
- Driving licence and ability to commute using own vehicle (expenses for away matches covered by the club)

Our club is dedicated to the continuous development of our coaching staff. We have recently established a Head of Coaching role to enhance coaching quality and support, led by Diogo Nobre, a UEFA A coach with extensive UK and international experience. Under his guidance, we provide a dynamic environment with on-field mentoring, regular feedback, and off-site development opportunities. We also offer financial support for coaching courses and CPD sessions and promote participation in both internal and external communities of practice. Our coaches have access to a wealth of resources, including session planning and video analysis tools, designed to support their professional development and contribute to the success of our club and its players.

We understand the importance of stability for our coaching staff. Therefore, we guarantee pay for any sessions or matches that are cancelled at the last minute, ensuring that our coaches are fairly compensated and can plan their schedules with confidence.
