**Background to Green Labyrinth**
Green Labyrinth is the trading name of Green Inc (eu) Limited, established in April 2010. It is a Private Limited Company wholly owned by NPTC Group of Colleges who are based in Port Talbot, Wales.:
The company operates from:
- One principal site, Number 1, Milton Road, with the largest proportion of learning activities being delivered in the workplace. Our Study Programme is delivered from this location.
- Three satellite sites, exclusively for the delivery of Adult Learner Loan funded adult courses. These are based in Swindon (two) and Durham.
The main target geographical area for Green Labyrinth Training is Swindon and Wiltshire. Additionally, apprenticeship learners are recruited throughout Wiltshire, Berkshire and Gloucestershire.
**Study Programme**
Our Study Programme is well-established in the local area and we work closely with the local authority and other stakeholders. Our provision has become a “go to” alternative provision in Swindon for referrals of learners with barriers to learning, anxiety, mental health issues and other learning disabilities and behavioural difficulties.
The Study Programme has good relationships with many of the feeder schools in Swindon and these are growing year-on-year. We manage a September start to the academic year.
**Adult Learning**
Swindon and the surrounding areas have a large number of SMEs which is the main target market for our Apprenticeships. The Green Labyrinth Training Beauty School is operated by specialist practitioners in their field.

**Role Purpose Summary**
To provide overall and effective senior leadership to the Study Programme provision. Working in conjunction with the CEO and Quality Manager.
Management of the Study Programme delivery with the Quality Manager to ensure all learners benefit from high quality learning in a supportive and safe environment. Meeting all compliance aspects of our provision and also all good quality teaching and learning.
The role is responsible for approximately 20 staff at present, although this is expected to increase.
The role is a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Management of Study Programme Teaching Staff, with three direct reports - Head of Teaching, Head of Support Services, Head of Admin.
- Lead the teaching and curriculum delivery for all learners, including the support requirements for high needs learners and learners with EHCP.
- Lead and develop a robust, negotiated, and consistent tutorial programme for all study programme learners.
- Manage the support services for learners and the work experience placements and enrichment activities to support all learners’ wider development.
- Work collaboratively with exams colleagues and study programme transition lead to deliver consistently timely enrolments and qualification achievements.
- Manage and ensure accuracy of Study Programme Student Data for funding purposes working with the MIS team, finance department and CEO.
- With the SLT, lead on the annual review of curriculum planning for the forthcoming academic year. Review and evaluate curriculum offer regularly to ensure it meets local needs, the needs of the learners and is of sufficient quality.
- BE aware of and consider other alternative curriculums that are/may be appropriate and enable a response to the evolving nature of 16-19 learner education.
- Support the learner career paths effectively.
- Utilise evidence-based, data-driven strategies and self-evaluation processes to deliver Work that will achieve an Ofsted “Good.” Together with the Quality Manager and CEO to put in place all quality processes and observations in support of the NPTC Quality expectations.
- With the SLT, prepare yourself and the Study Programme staff for Ofsted inspections and Provider Monitoring Visits.
- Managing relationships with the appropriate local authority departments and schools and colleges, focus on the learners who we are well placed to support and teach.
- Longer term to develop and implement the study programme strategy for curriculum growth and invigoration, and increased student numbers, launch new curriculum offers in line with local, regional, and national priorities.
**General duties**
- Perform a full role in the company’s Senior Leadership Team.
- Contribute to professional development and CPD within the company.
- Demonstrably contribute to the overall compliance requirements of our teaching environment.
- Support the company’s safeguarding approach.
- Support/contribute towards the external relationships we maintain in Swindon, specifically the Swindon BC.
- Maintain a good knowledge of the further education sector and developments, particularly around quality and the evolution of 16-19 education.
