**Senior Java Developer / Senior Software Engineer**

My client is an exciting, Cambridge-based, three year old tech start-up. they have four inter-related products on a single, AI-powered, information management platform, including Semantic Enterprise Search, Document Management, Information Asset Discovery,and an AI-knowledge-bot.

This is an exciting time to be joining this company as they are building sales pipelines with large brand-name customers and are currently gear up for very fast growth period within months.

**Responsibilities**:
While your primary focus will be on ensuring their AI-driven Software Products are fully complete and operational in all respects, allowing their CTO/Product Director to remain focused on continuous innovation, you will also be involved in working with theirCTO on product enhancements Search solutions, their Document Management System, their Discovery product and their AI-powered knowledge-bot. As a senior engineer, you will have solid experience in Software and Product Development Lifecycles, and the abilityto work with their CTO to carry out code reviews and to continually improve code quality across all aspects of our products. The role significantly involves providing influence and insight into the best technical approach and choice of tools. You will havesufficiently broad experience to be able to engage with key Technical Partners in the areas of Infrastructure, Cloud, Scalability and Security. My client actively seeks collaboration with experts in companies whose services and technologies complement theirown products. You will be comfortable in working with a Sales Team and providing them with technical advice in support of their Business Development efforts, and in supporting them in meetings with Customers and Prospects where necessary.

**Qualifications & Experience Required**:
At least 3-7 years of working experience with highly-scalable Enterprise software solutions
- Experience in working in an Agile framework and with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Experience in backend and frontend development and with both Cloud-based and Appliance-based deployments
- Problem solving and coding skills
- Ability to lead a team

**Nice to have**
- Experience with Natural Language Understanding and Machine Learning technologies
