After School Club Play Leader or Sports Coach

We offer outstanding camps to keep children entertained in the school holidays and after school. Kids simply love our camps because of the variety on offer, including over 40 different activities throughout the week
**We are seeking motivated and dedicated Play Leaders or sports coaches for our after-school clubs.**
Times: 3pm - 6pm approximately (Monday to Friday - Term time)
Over the academic year, all positions are Monday through Friday; however, there is extra employment available over the holidays.
**Principal responsibilities include of**:
- Taking the lead in organising, setting up, and providing high-quality play experiences in a nurturing and secure setting.
- Collecting children from staff on-site at the school and signing children out securely to their parents
- Moving furniture and setting up the play areas appropriately in preparation for the activities
- Supplying refreshments and making certain that safety, health, and hygienic requirements are fulfilled.
- Planning, organising, and conducting sports or arts and craft activities or sports sessions for primary aged children at different ability levels. Adapting the activities for children with special needs.
- carrying out all club administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensuring effective communication to parents, explaining how well their child has [progressed in daily activities.
- Following health and safety procedures including the instructions outlined in the risk assessment. Ensure the safety of all participants during training and games.
- Attending appropriate training so that you are fully prepared and competent to fulfill the roles and responsibilities
**Essential qualities**
- Able to lead activities to children aged 4 to 11 years old
- Able to follow lesson plans and deliver fun, safe and engaging activities including
sports
- Effective communicator
- Sufficient understanding and use of English to ensure the well-being of the children.
**Desirable attributes**
- Work experience in a play-based environment
Suitable Level 2 or higher certification (related to child care or sports)
- Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Safeguarding certificate
Pay: £8-14 per hour
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £8.06-£13.95 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
