Teaching Personnel are actively seeking **PMLD** Teaching Assistants for a specialist school based in Rugeley. The school supports students aged **11-19 years old** who have different special educational needs including PMLD, complex needs, SLD, ASD and MLD. The school follows British values and has an emphasis on vocational and life skills and utilises forest schools and local communityvisits.

The school hours for this role are **8:50-15:00** and duties would include supporting students on **a 1-1 basis**, supporting and engaging with SEN pupils, help clean and ensure the classroom is ready for the school day and support students with their **personal care**.

The ideal Care assistant for this Teaching assistant position will have training such as moving and handling, administering medication, first aid. The school is also keen to appoint Care assistants who have a patient and caring personality and have experiencedelivering person focused care.
