Delivery Driver

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and care during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury.

**Skills**
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role is preferred.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is advantageous.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, enhancing efficiency in loading and unloading processes.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
