**Are you looking to support one-to-one outside of mainstream schools?**
This SEN tutor role will be ideal if you are a newly qualified teacher, teaching assistant, SEN one-to-one or have any experience working with children and are looking for some flexible work.
**This SEN tutor role involves**:
- Working with children with Special Education Needs and providing face to face support to children with ASD, SEMH or PMLD at their homes or a local area e.g., library
- Planning resources around the child’s needs, this could be on developing their knowledge in Maths, English and Science.
- Skills and experience on keeping the child engaged with task and ensuring they can access the learning.
- Managing behaviour and implementing a range of behaviour strategies.
If you are looking to enhance your skills and experience this will be great to add to your CV. The SEN tutor roles are based in Banbury and surrounding areas.
**What we are looking for in a SEN tutor**:
- SEN experience (as teaching assistant, one-to-one or any other)
- Able to plan and deliver engaging, nurturing sessions.
- Experience with working with children with challenging behaviour.
- Checking that pupils are on track to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide feedback.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
