paperwork/electronic processes associated with the role are completed accurately and on time. Aid and support the management team to achieve objectives and share best practice.
This is a full time role working Monday -Friday 8:30am-5pm
Temporary to permanent position earning £20,500 per annum
Day to Day Duties
As an Administrator, your duties will include but no be limited to:
Entering Purchase Orders for all departments
Entering of weekly and monthly Sales Invoicing
Timesheets : Reconciliation of agency labour.
Preparation of month end reports and working to month end timetable.
Responding and dealing with invoice queries
General purchasing, in particular warehouse consumables, stationery/workwear ordering and controlling of stock.
Drug testing new starters (training will be given).
Setting up and booking of meeting rooms
Actioning adhoc request from the management team.
Answering telephone and dealing with questions as appropriate or taking messages.
Answering intercom, taking in deliveries and dealing with visitors.
Sorting incoming and outgoing post.
Provide administration cover for other team members during holiday periods and sickness
Essential Skills
As an Administrator, you must have experience in:
Knowledge of modern office procedure and methods including the use of telephones, and other office systems.
Basic PC literacy and the ability to use/learn software packages that is applicable to the job.
Ability to prioritise, work independently and make progress on tasks with mínimal supervision.
Good interpersonal skills - able to deal with people at all levels.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft 365 Office packages, in particular Excel and Warehouse Management Systems e.g., JDA.
Basic high school education with exam passes in English and Mathematics.
