**About the Role**:

No experience necessary, full training is provided

Working Hours
Afternoon Shift with
**£1.75 per hour additional during antisocial hours**
Tuesdays 14:30-23:00
Wednesdays 14:30-23:00
Thursdays 14:30-23:00
Fridays 12:30-21:00
Saturdays 08:00-16:30
About the role
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be involved in the production and packaging of raw food products whilst adhering to food hygiene procedures. You will adhere to health and safety at all times and follow all tasks in line with food safety rules.
- Ensure the very highest of hygiene standards are applied and maintained throughout the plant and report all non-conformances, where necessary take action to correct short falls.
- Issuing internal or supplier non-conformances and work with other departments to resolve the issues.
- Auditing the process from raw material to finished product and ensure that all process documents are completed correctly and findings are within tolerance.
- Ensure processes are followed as per site procedures.
- Complete all relevant pre-operational hygiene, temperature and calibration checks.
- Ensure traceability is fully maintained.
- Ensure product specifications are met and maintained including all label information, seal, gas mix, product orientation, product mix and quid.
- Ensure all CCP’s are maintained and checks recorded correctly.
- Ensure that any potential rework of product is conducted in a correct manner.
- Take part in projects and trials in the area and report results to QA Manager.
- Update all relevant records as appropriate, e.g. shift report, trending analysis, etc.
- Support other departments in training of technical procedures, complete observational checks and competency assessments of production staff.
- Inform QA Manager if any of the above does not meet the standards.
- Agree work load and project priorities with QA Manager.
- Support other roles within Technical Department.
