**Technical SEO Contractor**

Technical SEO contractor needed for 6 month contract with global online retailer. Must have an understanding of the structure and technical challenges of global websites, as well as developing solutions to improve SEO and therefore the ability to searchand to crawl and understand the sites.

Responsibilities of Technical SEO expert:

- Ownership of crawl optimisation and technical SEO e.g xml sitemap optimisation, handling and mobile parity.
- Optimisation of area of responsibility.
- Liaison with product team once optimisation's are identified across SEO.
- Keeping informed of developments in SEO.
- Working with internal tracking team and reporting on results of SEO.

Knowledge needed for Technical SEO contractor:

- Technical SEO experience of a large website.
- High level of understanding of bot crawling.
- Must be able to use Botify and Deepcrawl or similar programmes.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Spreadsheets.
- Previous experience in SEO Project management
- Experience with SQL.
- High level of spoken and written English (native speaker level).

Role is in South West London with a hybrid working policy applicable. _6 Month Fixed Term Day Rate Contract_
