Working closely with registered dietitians you will;
- be responsible for reviewing the nutritional care plans of inpatients,
- work with patients requiring dietary modification,
- lead on MUST training for the Trust,
- help deliver education and training on nutrition and feeding,
- assist with data collection for statistics, audit and research,
- assist in updating and developing dietary resources.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong communication and team working skills who is committed to improving the nutrition experience of our patients. A formal nutrition qualification and / or experience of working in a hospital or caring environment are desirable but not essential.
We will provide a comprehensive induction programme and competency framework to enable you to progress from a band 3 to a band 4. You will participate in appraisals and clinical supervision to enable you to develop the appropriate skills and knowledge.
