We are seeking a dedicated and RESPONSIBLE & EXPERIENCED Catering Assistant to join our agency for our private Schools In Oldham & Manchester

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and catering menus.
- Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
- Help set up catering events, including arranging food displays and serving areas.
- Support the kitchen team with various tasks, including cooking, food preparation, and cleaning duties.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of catering services.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting any shortages to the supervisor.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends or evenings as needed for events.

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
