**Salary**: £12.17 Per hour

Hours: Full time - 38 hours Per week

Ambient Support is a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with a mental health need and people with a learning disability.

**Our Team Leader needs**:

- Experience of supporting adults in a care setting or in the community
- An awareness and understanding of Mental Health
- Good communication skills, patience, and flexibility
- An understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support
- A flexible working patterns
- An NVQ L3 in Health & Social Care, or relevant qualification
- Have supervisory/management experience
- Be highly motivated and be able to work on their own initiative
- Be well organised
- Have a passion and enthusiasm for delivering quality services to vulnerable people
- A driving license & access to your own vehicle would be a bonus

**Our Team Leader’s duties will be**:

- To ensure that each individual maintains the lifestyle of their choice by ensuring each person has a person-centred plan which is continually reviewed.
- To ensure that each individual has the means to express their needs and wishes and that methods of communication are clearly recorded and shared with all members of the team.
- To ensure that the best interests of each person we support are at the centre of any decisions made about their life, and to work in partnership with them, their advocates, family, friends, and significant others.

Ambient offers a range of services for people living with mental health needs ranging from 24-hour residential care and support to floating support services in the community. We are also able to provide Community Engagement & Inclusion Services which providepeople with purposeful and meaningful activity to support their recovery journey.
- In order to protect both our staff and the people we support, unless there are wholly exceptional reasons (which we will consider on an individual basis), it is a requirement that all new employees have a Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencing withAmbient Support, and that they continue to receive Covid-19 vaccinations as required and in accordance with public health guidance throughout their employment with us._
